DES was not just content with continuing that streak this year. By fine-tuning its Fitness Factor program, the growing architecture firm earned the overall highest score out of all companies across the four categories.

This approach has resulted in creating a real sense of family at the firm.

In addition to physical challenges, DES focuses on four other key areas: emotional, financial, environmental and community interests. From the budding office vegetable garden to first-time home buying and stress release seminars, DES provides countless tools for employees to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle.

DES’ Director of Human Resources and Principal, Melanie Rogers, credits the Fitness Factor program for helping achieve high retention rates and recruit top talent, as evidenced by DES’ nine year service average.
