Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital

Menlo Park, California

World-renowned medical provider Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital chose DES for a new outpatient clinic for a very good reason — our proven expertise building state-of-the-art healthcare environments. Incorporating complex functional and sustainability concerns, the team evaluated and upgraded the existing building shell and its mechanical and electrical systems to meet OSHPD 3 standards. The layout maximizes workflow efficiency for the staff and caregivers while also prioritizing patient comfort and well-being. DES transformed a standard office space into a 7,626-sf clinic that harmoniously integrates all functions in the new building’s common facilities. An efficient, organized medical environment creates a sense of calm that fosters happiness and healing.
