John Fullerton

John is an expert at leading projects – ranging from large trend-setting campuses to complex headquarter facilities – to successful outcomes. For him, challenges are energizing opportunities to identify the optimal solution rather than any solution. He understands that achieving this requires a balancing act and a comprehensive understanding of factors. That’s why he considers a range of perspectives and always seeks input from clients, contractors, and consultants.

As a Partner, John spearheads various company-wide initiatives, including the Project Delivery Group and return-to-office program. He is also a compassionate mentor who is deeply committed to training and counseling the next generation of designers, offering guidance and support to help them succeed.

After 26 incredible years with DES, John will retire at the end of December 2025.
